POSITION TITLE: Mobile Ad Sales Specialist

COMPENSATION: Base plus Commission, base dependent upon experience.

Five Star Sports and Sideline Access, two industry leading national high school sports promotions companies, recently combined operations and are searching for competitive, self-motivated, articulate and results oriented people to fill out their smartphone app advertising sales team. Sideline Access produced the NIAAA National High School Sports app and is developing custom apps for qualified high schools. Five Star Sports is a leading national ticket and print promotions company. Their combined company has client schools in all 50 states and is expanding rapidly.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Digital Sales Associate position is intended for highly motivated and organized personnel with the ability to sell ads on digital media (smartphone apps, websites & any other digital products). This position will require a person to evaluate and understand smartphone app advertising dynamics and apply those to successfully sell ads on this cutting edge medium. Communication with school and advertisers and monitoring of content on schools’ digital products will also be required. This is a new and dynamic industry and the applicant should be ready to adapt and innovate in order to capitalize on the growing and evolving marketplace. The ideal applicant is one that thrives on a performance based position and is motivated by achievement and increased compensation.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Solid knowledge of mobile media products. Understand advertising sales, particularly mobile advertising. Competency in computers and technology. Applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Prior sales history is a substantial plus but not required. There are no educational minimum standards, but the applicant must possess the ability to communicate, using proper grammar in written and verbal forms.
